One person killed, two others hurt in Wayne County crash
WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. -- One person is dead and two others are in the hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Wayne County. It happened around 6:45 a.m. on Route 104 in the Town of Huron.
Sheriff's deputies say two cars hit each other head-on, causing one of the cars to catch fire.
We're told one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were seriously injured. One was flown to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, and the other to Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
Route 104 in that area remains closed at this time while authorities continue to investigate.
