The SU men's hoop team blew out defending NCAA champion North Carolina Friday night to win the 2009 2K Sports Coaches vs Cancer Classic Title at Madison Square Garden.
Wesley Johnson led the Orange with 27 points and 9 rebounds in only his second game at the Garden.
The Orange trailed UNC at halftime but opened the second half on a 22-1 run to win a preseason tournament title for the second consecutive season.
