OLD FORGE, N.Y. -- A woman is dead after her snowmobile plunges into icy waters in Old Forge. Nicole Robertello, 22, of Oriskany was snowmobiling with another person around 9 p.m. Saturday.

The pair came across a span of water on the Fulton Chain. Robertello's snowmobile was not able to make it over.

The other rider tried to extract Robertello from the waters, but was unsuccessful and went to a nearby home to call for help.

Emergency crews located her body two hours later.
