ROME, N.Y. -- Rome Police are investigating the death of an 11-month-old girl at a home on River Street in the city.

Police said they responded to the call just before 7 a.m. Tuesday. They are not releasing the child's name and say it is not a criminal investigation at this point.

Officers expect to learn more once they receive autopsy results.
