Man arrested after driving car into grocery store

BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man has been arrested after police say he was drunk when he drove his car into a Wegmans in Broome County.

Colin Pierce, 22, has been accused of ramming his car into the automatic doors at the Johnson City Wegmans several times before entering the store in his car. It happened back on June 9th.

Police say Pierce drove into the main part of the store and parked his car in the produce section.

When he was being arrested, police found him in possession of marijuana and vicodin.

Pierce faces multiple charges, including DWI for driving with a blood alcohol content level of .18 and reckless driving.
