SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Five Syracuse men have been indicted on charges in connection with an armed standoff that took place in the city last month.
Sammy Davis Jr., Cedric Judge, Timothy Boyd, Nakiiso Tas and Michael Sherriod are each facing charges, including first degree robbery and first and second degree burglary.
Police say one of the men approached a woman outside her home on West Matson Street on May 13th, put a gun to her head and forced her inside the house. Three other men were inside and another was in a getaway car.
Police say the suspects demanded money and jewelry from the woman while at one point sticking a gun in her mouth and putting her in a closet.
The woman was able to escape, but it took police nearly eight hours to get the men out of the home.
In addition to the burglary and robbery charges, the men also face counts of criminal possession of a weapon and conspiracy.
