Arrest made in pair of robberies

CLAY, N.Y. -- State Police arrested a man for two robberies in Onondaga County. According to investigators, Brandon Johnson, 31, of Syracuse, used a stolen vehicle to rob the Byrne Dairy on Brewerton Road in Mattydale on Friday.

On Saturday, they said Johnson also robbed the Bank of America on Route 31 in the town of Clay.

He is charged with two counts each of first-degree robbery and criminal possession of a weapon, and one county of criminal possession of stolen property.

Johnson was arraigned and sent to Onondaga County Jail on $1,000 cash bail.
