Man climbs onto roof, says he was high on bath salts
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Oneida County woman called police after she said her husband was acting irrational after taking bath salts. State Police say the 54-year-old man climbed up onto the roof of their home in Bridgewater with an unloaded shotgun. They say he was yelling at people to get out of his yard, but no one was there.
After police coaxed him off the roof, he was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for mental health evaluation. The man told officers he did use bath salts before the incident.
No charges are being filed at this time.
