Soldiers involved in Humvee accident
FORT MONTGOMERY, N.Y. -- Nine soldiers with the 10th Mountain Division based out of Fort Polk, Louisiana, are out of the hospital after their Humvee rolled over on a training facility near West Point.
According to the Times-Herald Record in Middletown, the soldiers were supporting cadet summer training at West Point on Tuesday when the vehicle they were in rolled.
A West Point spokesman said nine soldiers were treated at local hospitals and released. A tenth is expected to be released today.
An initial report from the Associated Press indicated that the soldiers were based out of Fort Drum, but officials corrected that report this morning.
