ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man accused of tying a woman up and raping her in Oneida County has now been indicted by a grand jury on new charges.

Rome police say John Santoro, 24, was arrested at his home in Utica earlier this month after a woman reported the rape. The victim told police she knew her attacker.

Santoro was indicted on several counts, including kidnapping, unlawful imprisonment, rape, criminal sexual act and aggravated sexual abuse.
