ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Grammy award-winning American folk rock band is playing a concert at Vernon Downs tonight. The band "America" will perform at the track. The band is best known for its hits including "A Horse With No Name" and "Sister Golden Hair."

Ticket proceeds will go to the Food Bank of Central New York. Last year, a Pat Benetar concert helped the Food Bank raise about $58,000.

The outdoor concert will begin at 8 p.m., rain or shine, followed by a fireworks show.
