Gas prices back on the upward slope

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- After months of lowering prices, the cost of gasoline is back on the rise.

According to SyracuseGasPrices.com, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Syracuse rose $0.05 in the past week to $3.55. That's about $0.03 higher than a month ago.

The national average stands at $3.42 per gallon.
