Rite Aid manager injured in robbery
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A 20-year-old Syracuse woman was arrested for allegedly trying to steal hair dye from a Rite Aid and pulling a knife on the store manager.
Police say it happened around 8:45 a.m. Friday at the Rite Aid on Butternut Street. Officials say Crimson Clayton, 20, was spotted by the store manager and a security guard. That's when police say a struggle ensued and Clayton pulled a knife out and cut the manager in the arm.
The manager was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Clayton is charged with robbery, assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal mischief.
