BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Sheriff's deputies are investigating the discovery of a body at the Aqua Terra Park on Maxian Road in the Town of Binghamton.

Detectives were called to the pond just after 2:30 p.m. Friday after dispatchers got a call about a body floating in the pond at the park.

Investigators say a fisherman had discovered the body floating approximately 20 feet from shore.

Detectives are still trying to identify the body.
