ONEONTA, N.Y. -- A Bronx man faces drug charges after a week long investigation in Oneonta.

Chatrajit Hemraj, 37, was arrested Wednesday after police obtained a search warrant for 167 Chestnut Street. Police say Hemraj was in possession of a bundle of heroin packaged for sale and almost $1,000 in cash.

Hemraj has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. He's being held at the Otsego County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.
