CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was all smiles at Chenango Memorial Hospital Friday as a check for more than $250,000 was handed over.

The gift comes from Chobani Yogurt's charity, The Shepherd's Gift Foundation. It's money that will help pay for new x-ray equipment at the hospital.

"Our success in achieving this mission depends on community support to continually reinvest in our facilities, our equipment and our programs," said Dr. Drake Lamen, President and CEO of UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital.

"We believe that any business who's not aware of their surroundings and their community and environment is not going anywhere," said Chobani CEO Hamdi Ulukaya.

The Shepherd's Gift Foundation helps raise money for local and global organizations through funds, partnerships and other programs.
