NEW BERLIN, N.Y. -- The top riders in motocross are back in New Berlin for this weekend's Red Bull Pro National Race.
Friday, the track hosted qualifying and amateur races, but the big attraction comes Saturday when guys like Ryan Dungey and James Stewart hit the dirt to compete for championship points.
Track officials say it's going to be an exciting weekend of racing, but it took a lot of work to get here.
"Mother Nature was really unkind to us Tuesday and Wednesday. We haven't had rain in so long and then we get four inches in less than 24 hours. It makes a struggle a little bit. For the pro races, the track will be perfect but for the amateur races today the track is still really muddy," said Greg Robinson, Unadilla Motorsports President.
The race will be televised nationally on NBC Saturday from 3 to 4 p.m.
