SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - Utica College senior Andrew Benkwitt was about as good as a quarterback can be on Saturday in a 45-17 rout at Union.
Benkwitt, who already owns several UC records, completed 20 of 29 passes for 260 yards, five touchdowns, rushed for 34 yards, and had no turnovers. Jeremy Meier caught two of the touchdowns and Jesse Baldassare led the ground attack with 134 yards and a touchdown on 25 carries.
The Pioneers (2-0) are back home for their next game against Hobart.
