CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- A county road has closed due to a house fire in Chenango County.

County Road 2 is closed between Ott Road and State Highway 41 in the Town of Smithville. Crews are expected to be on scene until at least 7 p.m. Wednesday.

In the meantime, officials are asking travelers to use Ott Road and Highway 41 as a detour.
