SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- An autopsy report said the homeless woman who was found unconscious under the I-690 bridge, died late on Saturday from a head injury. Syracuse Police were called to the area around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Michelle Noce, 42, was taken to Upstate University Hospital with several injuries. She was pronounced dead just before midnight. Police are treating the death as suspicious at this time, and are still processing the area where she was found. The exit ramp from West Street is closed at this time.

Police are looking into a report that Noce may have been involved in an altercation earlier on Saturday with a man. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. If you have any information, please call Syracuse Police at (315) 442-5222.
