UTICA, N.Y. -- After admitting their roles in the 2011 shooting death of Anthony Garner, the two final defendants accepted plea deals in Oneida County Court on Friday.

Dominic Cook is expected to be sentenced to 15 years on second degree attempted murder. He admitted to shooting Garner after a fight over gang terminology.

Octavius Garrett is also expected to get 15 years on manslaughter. He admitted to pinning Garner to the ground and beating Garner before his accomplices shot the victim.

The third defendant, Marshall Jackson, was sentenced to 25 years to life earlier this year for shooting Garner in the head.

Both Cook and Garrett will be sentenced in January.
