SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Police are searching for a man they believe fired bird shot at another man.

Police say a 54-year-old man and a 74-year-old man got into an argument on the 600 block of West Onondaga Street Sunday morning. The older man allegedly grabbed his shotgun and fired three rounds.

The birdshot hit the victim, but it didn't go through the leather jacket he was wearing.

Police have since recovered the gun.
