Infant hospitalized after crash between buggy and car
HARRISBURG, N.Y. -- An infant is sent to the hospital following a crash between a car and a buggy in Lewis County. It happened on Route 12 in the Town of Harrisburg just before 8 a.m.
The sheriff's Office says a female driver and a baby were inside the Amish buggy.
The infant was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital for possible head and internal injuries. The driver of the buggy suffered a leg injury, and the driver of the car was not hurt.
The accident is still under investigation.
