SYRACUSE, N.Y. - A heavy preseason favorite to win another state championship, the Maine-Endwell football team overmatched every team it faced en route to a second-straight perfect season.

The Spartans' average game score was 51-10 with its closest game being a 21-point victory over Union-Endicott. Maine-Endwell has now won 25-straight games, the longest active streak in the state in any class.
