ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- There was a roar coming from the New York State Fairgrounds on Saturday. The 20th annual New York State Indoor Karting Championship brought in people from all over.

Drivers sped around the center of progress vying for racing titles.

"Mostly it’s prestige winning in Syracuse. It’s a tough little tight circuit and there's speeds up to about 60 miles per hour in the building," event promoter Rick Martell said.

There are 70 races run in about a six hour time span. All it takes is about six seconds to complete a lap on the small indoor track.
