UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a young child over a two year span.

Luis Ricardo Diaz, 51, was arrested and charged with felony sex abuse.

The Oneida County Sheriff's office says their investigation revealed that Diaz sexually assaulted a child under the age of 11 between 2008 and 2010.

Diaz is being held at the Oneida County Correctional facility on $40,000 bail.
