HANNIBAL, N.Y. -- Officials in Hannibal are investigating a fire that left four people homeless Thursday.

Firefighters were called to a home on Brackett Road just after 11 a.m. Two people were inside when the flames broke out, but everyone made it out safely.

Departments from several surrounding towns helped put out the fire.

The cause remains under investigation.
