ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A convicted sex offender with warrants out for his arrest in three states has been caught living just outside of New Hartford.

Police and the U.S. Marshalls arrested Alvin "Dan" Riddle, 56, after receiving a tip that he had been living in Chadwicks since August.

Riddle was wanted in Arizona, North Carolina and Washington for failing to register as a sex offender. Investigators say he has an extensive violent criminal history. He's now facing up to 10 years in federal prison if convicted.
