SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man has admitted to robbing a truck driver of a can of soda at knife point. It happened at the Veteran's Hospital in Syracuse last February.

Police say Brian Roberts, 54, threatened the truck driver with a knife and stole the soda, and did so while drunk and high on crack cocaine. Roberts has undergone drug and alcohol treatment in prison since the robbery.

Sentencing is scheduled for mid-May.
