ALBANY, N.Y. -- It will be a busy day today at the state Capitol ahead of Governor Cuomo's State of the State address tomorrow.

The 23rd annual People's State of the State rally will take place today at noon.

Members of the Hunger Action Network hope Cuomo will address and call for raising the New York's minimum wage to $10 per hour.

They're also calling for more funding for emergency food programs, campaign finance reform and other social issues.

After the rally this afternoon, the group will deliver a list of priorities for the upcoming session to Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos.

The People's State of the State takes place every year the day before the governor addresses the state.
