ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man has been accused of sexually abusing a child in St. Lawrence County in 2010. Joshua Bristol, 23, of Gouverneur is charged with first-degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police say the arrest comes after an incident during the summer of 2010 involving a child younger than 11 years old.

Bristol was sent to the St. Lawrence County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
