SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One person is now in custody following an armed robbery that happened Wednesday night on Taft Avenue in Syracuse.

Two women had their purses stolen at gunpoint by three suspects just before 7 p.m.

Police arrested Deoz Miller-Harris, 18, of Syracuse, and charged him with second degree robbery.

No other arrests have been made in connection with this incident.
