ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was a successful weekend for one Mohawk Valley robotics team.

The RoboSpartans faced off against more than 30 robotics teams at Pace University on Sunday in the Hudson Valley FIRST Tech Challenge Championship.

Months of designing and building their robot paid off. They were awarded the Think Award, given to the team that showed off their creative journey the best through an engineering notebook.

The RoboSpartans were also given the Inspire Award while competing at Clarkson University in December, qualifying them for the World Championships in St. Louis this April.
