SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse men's basketball team continues to see a bumpy road as they head through Big East play.

The Orange dropped in the latest Associated Press poll. They're now ranked sixth in the country, down from number three last week.

This comes after suffering a heartbreaking loss to the Villanova Wildcats in overtime. The Orange will hit the road again this Saturday to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers, but the latest bad news will have them playing without their starting center.

Freshman Dajuan Coleman is having knee surgery on his left knee today, according to an SU press release. He's expected to miss four weeks, or the next eight games. And with James Southerland still ineligible, the Orange are down to seven scholarship players.

Tipoff for the game at Pittsburgh Saturday is noon.
