SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are asking for your help to find the suspect in a bank robbery in the city. It happened at the M&T Bank on South Salina Street just before 9 a.m.
Police say a man walked into the bank and told an employee he had a gun, but didn't actually show one. There were several customers in the bank at the time. No one was hurt.
"Most of the people in the bank didn't even know what was going on. The suspect came in, just passed a note, got some money from the teller, then fled out the front door of the bank," said Sgt. Tom Connellan, Syracuse Police.
If you recognize the man in the surveillance photos, you're asked to give police a call at (315) 442-5222. All calls will be kept confidential.
