SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating the second bank robbery in just two days in the city. It happened at the Key Bank on West Genesee Street around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Police say the suspect handed the teller a threatening note and demanded money before fleeing the area. They say a weapon was not displayed, and no one was hurt during the robbery.
If you know the man in the surveillance photo or have any information for investigators, call them at (315) 442-5222.
Police say they do not believe this robbery was connected to Wednesday morning's robbery on South Salina Street. In that case, a man robbed the M&T Bank threatening the use of a gun. After tip calls from viewers, police arrested Leonard Stephens, 34, of Canastota in connection with that robbery.
