SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are releasing new details about the city's latest homicide. It happened early Monday morning on the 400 block of Landen Avenue.

Police say two teens were shot. Jamal Holmes, 19, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other 17-year-old was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting and are looking for help to locate suspects.

"A lot of people might hear things on the street. If people hear things, they can give us a call. Anyone who knows of someone who may have been down there, witnessed it or they hear people talking about this shooting," Syracuse Police Department Sgt. Tom Connellan.

Police ask anyone with information about this double shooting to call them at (315) 442-5222.
