VERONA, N.Y. -- Preparing for a couple of big expansions, Turning Stone Resort and Casino is looking to fill some new jobs.

Turning Stone brought hundreds of people to a job fair Monday in their first effort to find about 150 new employees. Candidates are applying for positions from bartenders to marketing and promotions roles.

The resort is looking to fill spots at their new Upstate Tavern, which will be opening this spring. The Exit 33 venues are scheduled to be open this summer.

Vice President of Turning Stone Human Resources Dana Sovocool said, “The biggest qualifications is a smile, professional look and a fun personality. Turning Stone, as our customers have come to expect, is about creating an experience; and that experience starts with people who love what they do and who really are looking to create an enjoyable time for people.”
