Four people injured in multiple car crash

ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A multi-car crash in Oneida County left four people injured, including a nine-year-old boy.

State Police say an 80-year-old driver failed to stop at an intersection on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee, which led to a chain reaction crash. The drivers of the three cars were all taken to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

A nine-year-old passenger in one of the cars was seriously hurt. Ryan Williams, of Ava, sustained a head injury and had to be taken into surgery at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.

No tickets have been issued at this time.
