Man killed in Clinton County crash
CLINTON COUNTY, N.Y. -- A deadly crash took the life of a Vermont man in Clinton County. State troopers say the accident happened Tuesday morning on Route 11 in the Town of Ellenburg. An SUV crossed the center line and hit a car.
Alan Winters, 73, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was taken to CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh and is expected to be okay.
No charges have been filed. Investigators are still looking into what caused the accident.
