Two pit bulls found shot dead on railroad tracks
WHITESTOWN, N.Y. -- Two dogs were found shot to death on railroad tracks in Whitestown. Police say a railroad employee found the pit bulls last Wednesday after they were reported missing from Utica two days earlier.
Investigators say they found the owner of the dogs through a lost and found website for pets.
