OSWEGO, N.Y. -- One person is dead following a crash in Oswego County.

According to State Police, a car caught fire around 9:30 a.m. after crashing on Peter Scott Road on Saturday in Schroeppel.

Investigators said there was extensive fire damage to the vehicle.

Police are not releasing the victim's name at this time. They are still investigating the case.
